The Deadlock is operated by a pivot mechanism that activates the laminated  steel bolt with a throw of 1-3/8". This makes it very strong and sturdy providing maximum security. This deadlock is made for single leaf doors and or doors that have a gap between the door and the jamb.

 Operation:
 • One complete turn of key or thumbturn operates the deadbolt
 • Key cannot be removed unless bolt is in fully locked or unlocked position
